"Mind & Matter 2007", Crafts fair in Luxembourg
MIND & MATTER 2007 took successfully place from 13 to 21 october2007 at the Luxembourg
Fair grounds. The fair was visited by approx. 60.000 visitors.

MIND & MATTER, the first European Arts and Crafts Convention, was an interesting
showcase of contemporary crafts with participations from Belgium, France, Germany and
Luxembourg in a number of community stands and with several special exhibitions in
Hall 1 of the Fair. WCC-Europe did organize a special exhibition at the occasion of this fair:

"Best of European Contemporary Crafts"
with selected participants from a number of WCC member organizations all over Europe.
A small catalogue was printed.

Further WCC-Europe did show a selection of movies about crafts and craftspeople in
the conference room of the fair on Wednesday, October 17, from 10 h to 16 h.

As such MIND & MATTER was one of the most important cultural events of the
"Luxembourg 2007 and Greater Region - European Capital of Culture 2007" program.

WCC-Europe / European Board

The current WCC-Europe Board was elected at the General Assembly 2007 of WCC-Europe
which was held in Sliema on the island of Malta May 30 and 31, 2007.
