A new European Prize for Applied Arts has been created and the
exhibition of the competition will take place from
November 28, 2009 to January 24, 2010
in Mons (Belgium) at the "Anciens Abattoirs".
From Tuesday to Sunday 12 - 18 h

EUNIQUE - arts&crafts 2010:
11. to 13. June 2010 in Karlsruhe/Germany




In 2010 WCC-Europe again will be the main partner of the second edition
of this new European Craft Fair.

Special conditions for participation will be given to WCC members.

Deadline for applications: January 7, 2010

EUNIQUE - arts&crafts 2009:

232 craftspeople participated at the first edition of this new fair for applied arts & design held in Karlsruhe / Germany from June 5 to 7, 2009.
WCC-Europe was the main partner of this new European Craft Fair.

General Assembly of WCC-Europe, 2009
The annual General Assembly of WCC-Europe 2009 was held in Lucerne / Sursee, Switzerland in September 2009,and was hosted and organized by the national
entity "formforum" Switzerland.

The dates:
September 16 to 20, 2009, General Assembly of WCC-Europe

One of the main topics were the elections of a new Board to serve until 2012.
The new Board Members are:

President
Bernd Roeter, Germany

Vice-President
Clare Twomey, United Kingdom

Board Members
Pablo Blanco, Spain
Nina Linde, Denmark
Bie Luyssaert, Belgium Flanders

Advisor to the Board
Anne Leclercq, Belgium-Francophone

A very interesting programme with three lectures on crafts in
Germany, Spain and Switzerland took place.

WCC-Europe Award 2010:
The venue of the WCC-Europe Award for Contemporary Crafts 2010 was chosen
by the European Board. The Board decided to chose
"EUNIQUE - arts & crafts 2010" the new crafts fair held in Karlsruhe, Germany,
from June 11 - 13, 2010.

WCC-Europe Award 2009:
The venue of the WCC-Europe Award for Contemporary Crafts 2009 was chosen
by the European Board at the Board Meeting in January 2009.
The Board decided to chose
"EUNIQUE" , International Fair for Applied Arts + Design
the new crafts fair which was successfully held in Karlsruhe, Germany,
from June 5 - 7, 2009.

General Assembly of WCC-Europe, October 2008
The annual General Assembly of WCC-Europe was held in Spain,
in Talavera de la Reina (near Toledo)
and was generously hosted and organized by the national entity Oficio y arte.

Toledo

"Mind & Matter 2008", Crafts fair in Luxembourg
(2nd Edition)

MIND & MATTER 2008 was held from October 18 to October 26, 2008
at the Luxembourg Fair grounds.
This was the second edition of the International Crafts Exhibition "Mind & Matter"
and once again the show in Hall 1 was a part of the "Luxembourg Autumn Fair" - a fair
visited each year by nearly 60.000 visitors.

of WCC-Europe which was held in Sliema on the island of Malta May 30 and 31, 2007.
