"MASTERWORK, objets de créateurs européens"
The WCC-Europe exhibition "Best of European Contemporary Crafts" shown at the occasion of the "Mind & Matter" fair in Luxembourg in October 2007 has had a second edition in
March 2008, in Paris, and was shown in a modified way under a new title fromMarch 7 - March 29, 2008 :
"MASTERWORK, objets de créateurs européens"
"MASTERWORK" wass presented in co-operation with our French National Entity, Ateliers d'Art de France (AAF), in an especially rented gallery room at the
"Viaduc des Arts" (near Gare de Lyon) in Paris / France.
Location: Viaduc des Arts, Avenue Daumesnil 57, Paris
(between Gare de Lyon and Opéra Bastille)
This second edition offered the possibilty to those entities of WCC-Europe not already participating in the existing selection to join and to participate in Paris. Our new entity in Spain "Oficio Y Arte" did so and presented 5 candidates from their country. Two of them have been accepted and showed
their works in the Paris exhibition.
The exhibition MASTERWORK was a combination of objects
from "Best of European Contemporary Crafts" ( a selection of WCC-Europe first shown at the Mind&Matter fair in Luxembourg 2007)
and of a number of objects originating from French craftspeople chosen by
AAF, French entity of WCC-Europe.

A small catalogue showing the selection of WCC-Europe was published.
